(5m ÷ 5−3) = 55
5m−(−3) = 55
5m + 3 = 55
The bases are the same on both the sides, so their exponents must be equal.
∴ m + 3 = 5
\(⇒\) m = 5 − 3
\(⇒\) m = 2
