Digital Literacy – A Pathway to Empowerment
By Suman, Class XII
In today’s digital era, advancements in technology have transformed education and employment. For Indian youth, digital literacy is no longer optional—it is essential. The ability to navigate digital tools opens doors to remote learning, online certifications, and better job opportunities. However, many youths, especially in rural areas, struggle due to limited access and guidance. Institutions must provide training in digital tools and soft skills. Digital fluency enhances career prospects and equips students to adapt to changing job markets. Moreover, educational institutions should collaborate with tech firms to offer internships and workshops. With such support, youth can transition from passive consumers of technology to empowered digital citizens ready for future challenges.
