Preventing Biodiversity Loss
by Akash, Class XII B
Biodiversity loss occurs due to deforestation, pollution, and rapid urbanization. It causes the extinction of species and ecological imbalance. Preventing biodiversity loss is crucial to maintain environmental stability and human survival.
We must protect natural habitats, create wildlife reserves, and promote afforestation. Individuals should adopt the ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’ principle and switch to sustainable living. Awareness drives and environmental education can make a big difference.
By preserving biodiversity, we ensure cleaner air, fertile soil, and balanced ecosystems. It's time we act responsibly to protect our planet for future generations.
