Mental Health Awareness Among Indian Youth
by Neha/Nitin Kapoor, Class XII \end{center} In today’s fast-paced world, mental health among Indian youth is a growing concern. Peer pressure, academic stress, and the impact of social media often leave young people feeling overwhelmed and isolated. A major challenge in addressing mental health issues is the lack of awareness and resources. Many students do not seek help due to fear of judgment. Awareness can help break this stigma and encourage early intervention. Mental health awareness helps young individuals understand their emotions, manage stress, and build resilience. Schools and colleges must collaborate with mental health professionals to conduct workshops and counselling sessions. Creating a safe and supportive environment, both at home and school, is key to nurturing emotionally healthy youth.
