Solution and Explanation

Teentala is the most widely used tala in Hindustani classical music.
It has 16 beats divided into 4 Vibhags of 4 beats each (4+4+4+4).
The theka (basic pattern) is: Dha Dhin Dhin Dha | Dha Dhin Dhin Dha | Dha Tin Tin Ta | Ta Dhin Dhin Dha.
It is used for tabla solos, Khayal, instrumental, and Kathak dance.
Dugun means double speed — every beat is divided into two equal parts.
Teentala Dugun Notation:
1. Dha Dha Dhin Dhin | Dhin Dhin Dha Dha | Dha Dha Dhin Dhin | Dhin Dhin Dha Dha
2. Dha Dha Tin Tin | Tin Tin Ta Ta | Ta Ta Dhin Dhin | Dhin Dhin Dha Dha
Each bol is repeated to fit Dugun laya, showing mastery of speed and clarity.
