In half-duplex data transmission mode, communication occurs in both directions between devices, but only one device can send data at a time. This means that when one device is transmitting, the other must wait until the transmission is complete before responding.
Other transmission modes:
Half-duplex is commonly used in walkie-talkies and some network systems where bidirectional communication is necessary but simultaneous transmission is not possible.
