A Busy Market
Yesterday, I visited Chandni Chowk, one of the busiest markets in our city. The market was beautifully decorated with colorful lights and banners. Shops of clothes, electronics, books, and food items were lined up on both sides of the narrow lanes. The goods were displayed attractively to catch the eyes of the customers.
There was a huge crowd of buyers bargaining with shopkeepers, while hawkers shouted to attract customers. The traffic outside the market was very heavy and caused congestion. Although the market provides everything under one roof, the crowd and noise often make it difficult to move around.
In my opinion, proper traffic management and better cleanliness should be maintained to make the market more enjoyable for visitors.
