The Correct Option is B

Solution and Explanation

Let Roshan's C.P. be p rupees.
Profit =15%=15\% of p=3p20p=\frac{3p}{20}
S.P. =p+3p20=23p20=p+\frac{3p}{20}=\frac{23p}{20}
Profit %\% on S.P.
(3p20×2023p×100)%=(30023)%(\frac{3p}{20}\times\frac{20}{23p}\times100)\%=(\frac{300}{23})\%
Let S.P. of each be x rupees. Then
(25%\% of x)−(30023%(\frac{300}{23}\% of x))=275
⇒ 27523x=\frac{275}{23}x= 27500
⇒ x==27500×23275=2300=\frac{27500\times23}{275}=2300
\therefore Selling price is 2300 rupees
The correct option is (B): Rs. 2300
