It was early morning. The cool breeze was blowing. Rajkumar Salim and Birbal, along with Akbar, went out for a walk. After some time, they reached the bank of a pond. The water of the pond was cold. Akbar decided to take a bath. Rajkumar Salim was also ready to bathe. They handed their clothes and ornaments to Birbal, who refused to take them, saying, "A wise man does not keep other's belongings." Birbal's words made Akbar and Salim laugh.
