Sneh’s age is \(\frac{1}{6}^{th}\) of her father’s age. Sneh’s father’s age will be twice of Vimal’s age after 10 years. If Vimal’s eighth birthday was celebrated two years before, then what is Sneh’s present age?
Suppose father's age = x Sneh's age is = \(\frac{x}{6}\) Vimal's age = v after 10 years Vimal's age = v+10 father's age = x+10 according to question x+10=2(v+10).................(1) and v = 8+2 =10 from (1) we get x=30 so, Sneh's age is = \(\frac{x}{6}=\frac{30}{6}=5\) The correct option is (D): None of these
