Radish (Raphanus sativus) is a modified tape root. For storage of food it become fusiform by swollen in the middle and gradually tapers towards the two ends. The fusiform root is bulged at the center and tapers deliberately at both ends, forming a spindle-shaped structure.

Morphology in flowering plants tells us that every plant has two systems such as a root system and a shoot system. The root system digs deep into the ground and structures a system of its own.
