The Joys of Playing Outdoor Games

In today’s world, the lack of open spaces and the addiction to computer and video games have led to increasing obesity and poor health among the youth in metropolitan cities. However, my recent visit to a small town to meet my cousin changed my perspective. I spent hours playing outdoor games like cricket, football, and badminton, which brought immense joy and numerous benefits.
Playing outdoor games improves physical health and builds stamina. It is an excellent way to release stress while fostering teamwork and sportsmanship. Being close to nature rejuvenates the mind and soul, making one feel connected to the environment. Additionally, outdoor games encourage the development of social skills by interacting with peers and learning to work as a team.
I strongly advocate for youth to embrace outdoor activities to lead a healthier and more fulfilling life.
