Solution and Explanation

Total earning = 1,50,000₹ 1,50,000 and Saving = 50,000 ₹ 50,000
∴ Money spent = 1,50,00050,000=1,00,000₹ 1,50,000 - ₹50,000 = ₹1,00,000
(a) Ratio of money earned to money saved = 15000050000\frac{150000}{50000}
=31=\frac{ 3}{1}
=3:1= 3:1
(b) Ratio of money saved to money spend = 50000100000\frac{50000}{100000}
=12=\frac{ 1}{2}
=1:2= 1:2
