Construction:
A room cooler consists of the following main parts:
Water tank: Holds water that is pumped to the cooling pads.
Cooling pads: Made of cellulose or aspen, they absorb water and provide a large surface area for evaporation.
Fan/blower: Draws warm air from outside and pushes cooled air inside the room.
Water pump: Circulates water from the tank over the cooling pads.
Housing and grills: Enclose the components and direct airflow.
The water pump draws water from the tank and wets the cooling pads continuously.
The fan draws hot outside air through the wet cooling pads.
As the air passes through the pads, water evaporates, absorbing heat from the air and lowering its temperature.
This cooled and humidified air is blown into the room, reducing the room temperature.
