The Correct Option is D

Solution and Explanation

C.P of 16 articles \(=100\times16=Rs 1600\)
Tradesman earn 35\(\%\) profit
Then S.P pf 15 articles \(=(\frac{135}{100})\times1600=Rs2160\)
S.P of each article = Rs.
4\(\%\) of discount means:
If S.P is 96, then marked price = 100Rs.
If S.P is 144, then marked price \(=(\frac{100}{46})\times144=Rs150\)
\(\therefore\) Marked price is 50\(\%\) above the cost price.
The correct option is (D): 50\(\%\)
