Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I wish to draw the attention of the authorities to the alarming rise in prices of essential commodities. The common man is suffering greatly as the cost of food grains, vegetables, and other necessities has skyrocketed. Daily wage earners and salaried people are the worst affected, struggling to meet their basic needs.
It is high time the government took strict steps to control hoarding, black marketing, and unfair price hikes. Effective policies must be implemented to ensure that essential commodities are available at reasonable rates.
I hope that by highlighting this issue, corrective action will be taken immediately to bring relief to the public.
