Report on International Women’s Day Celebrations
Who:
\ The International Women’s Day celebrations were organized by the school’s editorial board, led by Aarushi, with the active participation of students from all grades.
What:
Various activities were planned for the day, including speech competitions, poster-making contests, and a discussion panel. The theme for the year was “Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women.”
When:
The celebrations took place on March 8th, coinciding with International Women’s Day, and continued throughout the day.
Where:
The events were held in the school auditorium, with additional activities taking place in the school corridors and classrooms.
Why:
The purpose of these activities was to raise awareness about gender equality, empower young minds to contribute towards societal change, and acknowledge the achievements of women across the globe.
How:
Students from various grades participated in speeches, presenting topics ranging from women’s rights to inspirational women in history. Posters were created showcasing the achievements of women in different sectors, and a panel discussion was organized to discuss the importance of gender equality. These activities fostered a sense of unity, awareness, and respect among the school community.
