Jayaprakash Narayan, also known as JP, is regarded as the father of the “Total Revolution”. In the 1970s, he initiated a movement in India advocating for systemic change in the political, social, and economic spheres. The Total Revolution aimed at establishing a more just and egalitarian society. His ideas were a reaction against the growing corruption and mismanagement during the Emergency period, and he worked for a complete transformation of India's social and political structure.
