The Orient Express was a famous long-distance passenger train service created in
1883. Its original route ran from Paris to Istanbul. It became a symbol of luxury travel and
intrigue, famous for its opulent carriages and high-profile passengers. Though the original
service has been discontinued, its name remains synonymous with the golden age of rail
travel and it has been immortalized in books and films, most notably Agatha Christie’s
”Murder on the Orient Express.”
