Step 1: For triangular wave over full period:

Step 2: Any fraction of a linear ramp preserves same rms coefficient because

V_{\text{rms}}^2=\frac1{t}\int (k t)^2 dt \Rightarrow \frac{V_0^2}{3}.
\]
Hence rms \(=V_0/\sqrt3\).
