The Correct Option is B

Solution and Explanation

Let total strength of class = 100
Let number of boys be \(x\) and number of girls be \((100-x)\)
\(\rightarrow x−(100−x)=\frac{12}{100}\times100\)
\(\rightarrow 2x−100=12\)
\(\rightarrow x=\frac{112}{2}=56\)
Therefore, Required ratio =\(\frac{54}{44}=14:11\)
The correct answer is (B) : 14:11
