Growth and movement:- Even non-living things do move like sand dunes and even mountain show growth i.e increase in size Reproduction:- sterile couple do not reproduce In-vitro reactions: Non-living beings are characterized by their tendency to show in-vitro reactions. Responsiveness to stimuli:- a person in a coma does not respond to stimuli Interaction with the environment and progressive evolution:- but the person in a coma can hear things can see things i.e his body is interacting with the environment. No non-living thing shows evolution.
