Reproductive health is the total well-being in all aspects of reproduction. The aspects which have to be given special attention in the present scenarios are:
Counseling and creating awareness among people, especially the youth, about various aspects of reproductive health, such as sexually transmitted diseases, available contraceptive methods, cases of pregnant mothers, adolescents, etc.
Providing support and facilities such as medical assistance to people during pregnancy, STDs, abortions, contraceptives, infertility, etc. for building a reproductively healthy society.
The biological process by which a new individual or an offspring is produced from a parent or parents that are biologically similar or identical is known as reproduction. It is the elemental trait of all known forms of life. In fact, each and every individual have life because of reproduction.
The state or position of male and female reproductive systems during their lifetime refers to their reproductive health. The system comprises organs and glands, including the pituitary gland in our brain, which are responsible for the production and release of hormones.
In other words, reproductive health can be described as a state of physical, mental, and social well-being in all aspects relating to the reproductive system. It includes the liberation and appropriate capacity to reproduce as and when one decides to do so, apart from having a safe and satisfying sex life.
