Solution and Explanation

Kohlrausch’s Law states that the limiting molar conductivity of an electrolyte is the sum of the limiting molar conductivities of its constituent ions, i.e. \[ \Lambda^\circ_{\text{m}} = \Lambda^\circ_{\text{m}} (\text{cation}) + \Lambda^\circ_{\text{m}} (\text{anion}) \] Applications: 1. It helps in determining the dissociation constant of weak electrolytes. 2. It can be used to calculate the molar conductivity at any concentration for electrolytes.
