Assume B and C together have = \(Rs. 9x\)

Share of A in this is = \(\frac{2}{9} × 9x = Rs. 2x\)  – (i)

From the question we know that A's amount = \((770 - 9x)\) – (ii)

From equation i and ii

\(11x = 770\)

\(x = \frac{770}{11}\)

\(x = 70\)

So, A's Share will be 2 × 70 from equation (i)

= \(Rs. 140\)

The correct option is (A): Rs.140
