Pasteurization is the method of partial sterilization. In older method of milk pasteurization, milk is heated to $63-65^{\circ} C$ for $30$ minutes and in HTST or flash pateurization method, milk is heated to $72^{\circ} C$ for at least $15$ seconds followed by rapid cooling.
