The Correct Option is B

Solution and Explanation

Miller and Urey, 1953 took ammonia, methane, hydrogen (in the ratio 2:2:1) and water in a sterilised apparatus having a spark chamber with two electrodes, a flask for arrangement of boiling, a tube with condenser for condensation and a trap for collection of aqueous solution. The experiment was continued for. eighteen days after which the contents of the apparatus were analysed. A number of simple organic compounds such as amino adds, purines, pyrimidines, simple peptide chains, organic adds and sugars were found. He proved that organic compounds were basis of life.

Concepts Used:

Origins of Life

Origin of Life is considered as one of the most important phenomena that happened in the history of biology. Through this phenomena we got to know about the existence of atmosphere, special gases, different forms of species, different galaxies and so on.

Evolution:

Over the years there have been changes that happen in the formation or the characteristics of the species and because of which there have been the development of new kinds of species and all this happened through the involvement of the natural process and thus came to be known as the evolution.

Charles Darwin Theory of Evolution:

Charles Darwin in his book “On the origin of the species” tells about how the organisms have evolved over the different generations by inheriting the different forms of characteristics such as physical or the different behavior traits.
