Ans. Zeatin is a member of the cytokinin family of plant growth hormones. It is made composed of a purine ring structure with a hydroxyl, amino, and olefin side chain. It is called after the maize genus Zea, after which it was found. The root systems of plants generate cytokinins like zeatin.

The hormone-like molecule called florigen is thought to be in charge of regulating and/or initiating plant blooming. The shoot apical meristem of buds and developing tips is where florigen activates after being created in the leaves. It can also work between different species and is known to be graft-transmissible.

With the chemical formula C12H13NO2, indole-3-butyric acid is a crystalline solid that ranges in color from white to light yellow. It decomposes before melting at 125 °C and air pressure. IBA, an auxin-family plant hormone, is a component of several commercial horticulture plant rooting preparations.

A rooting agent used for vegetative plant multiplication from stem and leaf cuttings, NAA is a synthetic plant hormone in the auxin family that is a component of many commercial plant rooting horticulture products. Additionally, plant tissue culture uses it.
