In the traditional Hindu system, Ashramas refer to the four stages of life—Brahmacharya (student life), Grihastha (householder life), Vanaprastha (retirement), and Sannyasa (renunciation). Shudra, being a Varna (caste), and Upanayan, being a Samskara (ritual), are not considered part of the Ashrama system. Therefore, they are excluded from the Ashramas.
