Sanauli, located in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, was excavated by the Archaeological Survey of India and is dated to 2200–1800 BCE. The cemetery revealed burial goods, including copper objects, pottery, and other artifacts, indicating a sophisticated material culture.
