Nyaya Darshana recognizes four Pramanas (means of valid knowledge), which are: 1. Pratyaksha (Perception): Knowledge acquired through direct sensory perception. 2. Anumana (Inference): Knowledge gained through logical reasoning and deduction. 3. Upamana (Comparison): Knowledge derived through analogy or comparison. 4. Shabda (Verbal Testimony): Knowledge obtained through reliable verbal or scriptural testimony. These Pramanas serve as the basis for epistemology in the Nyaya system of Indian philosophy.
