In Yogadarshan, as expounded by sage Patanjali, there are 26 elements (Tatva). These include the 25 elements derived from Sankhya philosophy, which consists of Prakriti (nature), Purusha (consciousness), and the three gunas (sattva, rajas, tamas), along with additional aspects specific to the Yogic framework, such as Ishvara (the supreme soul) recognized in Yogadarshan.
