The Correct Option is A

Solution and Explanation

The correct answer is influenza.

When germs or viruses are spread by relatively large respiratory droplets that humans sneeze, cough, drip, speak, sing, or yell into the air, droplet infection occurs. Most of these drops fall from the sky within a radius of 3 to 6 feet, often traveling relatively short distances before resting. These droplets contain a lot of pathogenic materials.

If humans are sufficiently near to one another, they can spread directly. Droplets of infection can enter the mouth, nose, or eyes and transmit disease.

  • Tetanus is disseminated when soil, animal and human excretions, cuts and wounds come into direct contact with C. tetani spores.
  • Direct contact with saliva or brain/nervous system tissue from an infected animal, such as through a break in the skin or mucous membranes in the eyes, nose, or mouth, is how the rabies virus is spread.
  • By coming into touch with an infected individual's excrement (sometimes microscopic, unnoticeable quantities), polio is transferred from one person to another.
