The direction of the force is given by Fleming’s Left-Hand Rule, which states that when the thumb, forefinger, and middle finger of the left hand are held at right angles, the thumb points in the direction of motion (force), the forefinger points in the direction of magnetic field, and the middle finger points in the direction of current.
