Bholi is someone who's seen as simple and obedient. She usually goes along with what others say, even agreeing to marry someone not right for her just to please her parents. But in the end, when she sees her father being mistreated while asking for her hand in marriage, she changes. She decides not to get married. At that moment, she's called Sulekha because she's grown up and wise. She knows her worth and won't let anyone disrespect her family.
