Y can do 40\(\%\) of the work in 40 days i.e he can complete the whole work in 40 × \(\frac{1}{0.4}=100\) days

Z can do \(\frac{1}{3}\)rd of the work in 13 days i.e he can complete the whole work in 13 x 3 = 39 days

Z will complete the work first.
