Which of the following statement is correct for node of Ranvier of nerve
The correct option is (B) : Myelin sheath is discontinuous
Because of the Ranvier nodes, the myelin sheath is disjointed. Nodes of Ranvier, a recurring opening in the myelin sheath that surrounds the axon of certain neurons, help nerve impulses to travel more quickly. A phenomenon called as saltatory conduction allows impulses to move from node to node because nodes of Ranvier periodically interrupt the insulation. The outermost nucleated cytoplasmic layer of Schwann cells, also known as neurolemmocytes, that encircles the neuron's axon is known as the neurolemma.

The current passing through the battery in the given circuit, is:
A bob of heavy mass \(m\) is suspended by a light string of length \(l\). The bob is given a horizontal velocity \(v_0\) as shown in figure. If the string gets slack at some point P making an angle \( \theta \) from the horizontal, the ratio of the speed \(v\) of the bob at point P to its initial speed \(v_0\) is :
A full wave rectifier circuit with diodes (\(D_1\)) and (\(D_2\)) is shown in the figure. If input supply voltage \(V_{in} = 220 \sin(100 \pi t)\) volt, then at \(t = 15\) msec:
The human nervous system is responsible for controlling and coordinating all the activities of the human body.
The Central Nervous System (CNS) comprises the brain and spinal cord.
The Peripheral Nervous System (PNS) comprises sensory/motor neurons and ganglion.
