The Austro-Asiatic language family includes languages spoken in Southeast Asia, Eastern India, and parts of central Asia. Bhumij, Kharia, and Birhor are part of this family.
Bhumij, Kharia, and Birhor belong to the Austro-Asiatic language family. Kumaoni, however, belongs to the Indo-Aryan branch of the Indo-European family and is not part of the Austro-Asiatic language family.
