Speech:
Good morning to all the respected teachers and dear students,
I am honored to be here with you today on the eve of World Environment Day. As a member of an NGO dedicated to water conservation, I would like to speak briefly on the importance of water harvesting. Water is one of the most essential resources for life, but unfortunately, we are facing a severe shortage due to overuse and poor management.
Water harvesting is a simple yet effective way to conserve water. It involves collecting and storing rainwater for future use, reducing dependency on groundwater. This method can help us save water for drinking, farming, and other purposes.
I urge each one of you to take part in this important practice. Small steps from all of us can make a huge difference. Let us join hands in ensuring a sustainable future for ourselves and the generations to come.
Thank you!
