The Correct Option is A

Solution and Explanation

Ribosomes are involved in protein synthesis. Free ribosomes synthesize structural proteins which are used inside the cell. RER provides site for protein synthesis due to presence of ribosomes on it. Ribosomes attached to ER synthesize proteins for transport which are used outside the cell, integral proteins and proteins of certain organelles like golgi complex, lysosomes and plant vacuoles. Golgi apparatus functions in packaging and storage of materials. Lysosomes digest intercellular and extracellular substances. They can digest damaged or ageing cells (autolysis). So the lysosomes are called suicidal bags.

Eurkaryotic Cells - Golgi Apparatus

The Golgi apparatus is also known as the Golgi complex or the Golgi body. The term is derived from Camillo Golgi, the scientist who discovered the organelle. It can be found in all eukaryotic cells, including plants and animals. They are membrane-bound organelles found in the cell's cytoplasm

Formation of acrosome: The acrosome is a component of the tip of animal sperms that aids in the digestion of the egg or ovum covering sheath during fertilisation. The Golgi complex produces it with the help of its vesicles.
