Ladies and Gentlemen, a very warm welcome to the Cultural Fest 2024!
We begin today’s event with a prayer, invoking the blessings of the divine for a successful event.
Next, we proceed with the lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the removal of darkness and the beginning of enlightenment.
Now, I would like to invite our respected Principal to give the opening speech and set the tone for today’s event.
Following the speech, we have the felicitation of our esteemed guests, who have supported the event.
Let us now move forward with the Cultural Fest Programme, where students from different faculties will showcase their talents.
Afterward, we’ll hear the Speech of the Chief Guest, followed by the Presidential address.
As we conclude, the Prize distribution ceremony will be held to honor the best performers.
Finally, I will deliver the Vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all those who contributed to making this event a success.
“I put the brown paper in my pocket along with the chalks, and possibly other things. I suppose every one must have reflected how primeval and how poetical are the things that one carries in one’s pocket: the pocket-knife, for instance, the type of all human tools, the infant of the sword. Once I planned to write a book of poems entirely about the things in my pocket. But I found it would be too long: and the age of the great epics is past.”
(From G.K. Chesterton’s “A Piece of Chalk”)
