MEN-2b (Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia type 2b) is a rare genetic syndrome that includes the following components: megalocon, marfanoid habitus, and mucosal neuromas. These are characteristic signs of the disease.
However, parathyroid adenoma is not part of MEN-2b. Parathyroid adenomas are typically associated with MEN-1 or MEN-2a, but not MEN-2b. MEN-2b is most commonly associated with medullary thyroid cancer, pheochromocytomas, and mucosal neuromas.
