(V + 4)(T - \(\frac{1}{2}\)) = (V - 2)(T+\(\frac{1}{3}\)).

(V + 4)(T - \(\frac{1}{2}\)) = VT.

On solving, we get

V = 20 \(\frac{km}{hr}\) and T = 3 hours.

The distance = VT = 60 km. So the correct option is (B)
