Neuron or nerve cell is the structural and functional unit of nervous system. Neuron comprises of cell body and nerve processes which are of 2 types - axon and dendron. Based on their structure neuron are of 3 types - unipolar, bipolar and multipolar. Bipolar neuron has two processes, a dendron and an axon at opposite poles of the cyton. These occur in retina of eyes, olfactory epithelium and cochlear ganglia.
