Where can I buy a recorder to use at home to record music w accompaniment tape?

Question: Is there a recorder that I can use a cassette or CD accompaniment tape with and sing along with it and record it onto a CD? I once had a 'boombox' that had a microphone (external) and I could put a tape in one side, sing along with it and it recorded onto a tape that was in the other cassette holder. It even had a microphone input and I could use a microphone and sing along and that blocked out the external noise. I've searched everywhere for a player/recorder like that but have not found any. My old one 'bit the dust'. Now, I'd like to record songs I sing at church, onto a CD, at home, using an accompaniment CD. Any suggestion would be appreciated. I purchase the accompaniment CD's and sing with them now, at church, but have no way of recording them at home to keep and/or share with family or friends who've asked me for one. Thanks. yanksgirl Your answer is helpful--please explain: on my PC I can record voice and music? how do I do that? I use a mic and put the accompaniment tape where? I'm confused. Please give details. Thanks.

Answer: Many DVD players have microphone input for karaoke. If your accompaniment song is on CD you can use then a PC to record the song and voice and then burn it out on a new CD.
